Our process varies depending on the type of work you are requesting, and if your project is a new build or renovation. Please fill out the New Project Survey. Once submitted, we will call you to begin the process.
The timeline varies depending on the complexity of the design and the material it is to be made from. Most cabinetry is delivered in 6-10 weeks from the sign off date.

We apologize but no, we do not reface old cabinetry. Refacing is a specialty and it’s better to find a company that focuses on that type of work.
Depending on the size and complexity of a design, we may require a design retainer after our initial consultation. When you move forward and place the order, that amount is deducted from the invoice.
Typically we would welcome you to walk in anytime, but due to Covid-19, we are requesting an appointment. This helps us control the amount of people in our showrooms at any one time and limit the exposure to our clients and ourselves.
Process
If you have a question before install, reach out to your designer, during the installation please speak with Customer Care. Both can be reached at (905) 264-6464.
We are happy to help with any questions about your electrical work, but the plan provided will only include locations for work relating to the cabinetry.
The first step for your project is to meet with one of our designers here at the showroom for a no-cost consultation. We recommend that you bring basic measurements and plenty of pictures of the space. We will certainly come out to confirm the measurements and the space. By coming to the Studio first and discussing the project, we will be more informed about your needs and may approach the measure differently.
The process length can vary widely from job to job depending on a number of factors, complexity, availability of both the designer and client, preparation before (such as flooring choices completed etc), the list is long.
On small jobs the delivery can be on the same day, but as a rule of thumb, the delivery usually falls on the day prior.
Once the contract is signed, you will be given a “Week Of” timeline. As the installation date approaches, you will be contacted with a firmer date. Please reach out to your designer or customer care at (905) 264-6464 with specific timeline concerns.
Please read over our Preparing Your Space (link to “Prepare My Space” document) document for how best to receive your delivery and prepare for your installation.
Yes they are and no they are not. As part of your purchase, we will happily come out to take measurements and ensure that everything fits as expected. If you are adding on very small portions to an existing space, or really want to do all of the work yourself, we have that option as well.
There are two ways for you to own the design of your space.
Option 1: Place and order! Once an order is placed the drawings are yours and we can print extra copies at leisure for you to give to your trades.
Option 2: Pay a design retainer, in which case you may walk away at any point of our process with a full set of the drawings we have completed.

You best bet is make any choices that you can with your builder when you are doing your selections. If you would like to alter the kitchen after the installation, or add-on to it, we can only speak with you after the home has closed. This process is substantially less hassle for you, less headache for you, and cheaper too!
MDF is a fantastic material to paint because of the density of the material. Paint goes on smooth, clean and with little to no defect. Wood is also a great product to paint, when treated properly the paint goes on with a beautiful finish almost identical to MDF. However, this is where the similarities end. Wood is a “living†material, and as such, it moves and breathes with humidity and temperature. Paint is not. As your wood door swells, your paint will remain the same size and this leads to cracking. Painted MDF doors will not swell with the seasons and your finish will stay in better shape for a much longer.
We do not sell faucets or sinks but we can recommend some one, try Ron’s Plumbing Superstore. When it comes to decorative hardware such as knobs and pulls, we only sell it to clients that are purchasing cabinetry.
We are happy to provide you with a short list of Trades who can provide you with various services.
Cabinets
We make as much as we possibly can! Although the functional hardware is sourced in Europe, all our cabinets are designed and manufactured right here in Toronto! Our primary material is wood and the vast majority of that is from Canadian mills.
Our cabinets use a wide variety of materials, Solid Wood, Wood Veneer, Plywood, Particle Board & MDF. Each has a very specific use and we use the best material for the best job. With any specific questions about the materials, please speak with your designer.
